Panasonic HC-V770 Full HD Camcorder

By pairing the HC-V770 Full HD Camcorder from Panasonic with your smartphone you can record two camera angles at once. A main image from the HC-V770's sensor in full HD and a secondary picture-in-picture image from your phone's camera. But the HC-V770 works by itself, too. It features a 20x optical zoom lens with a 29.5 to 612mm equivalent focal length - giving you a wide angle when zoomed out, and a substantial amount of telephoto when zoomed in. Able to record slow-motion in Full HD at up to 120 fps, it can also perform in-camera interpolation to bring the final frame rate up to 240 fps.

For steadier handheld shooting, the HC-V770 features Panasonic's HYBRID O.I.S.+, which combines optical and digital image stabilization to provide 5-axis correction. Adjustable settings allow you to find a stabilization mode most appropriate for the kind of shooting you are doing. From OFF for tripod work, to Normal for regular handheld work, all the way up to Strong for those times when things really get shaky.

The HC-V770's Wi-Fi does more than let you capture from your phone's camera. You can preview a live image on your mobile device using the Panasonic Image App and change camera settings. If the camera has Internet access, you can even upload web-friendly copies of videos and photos directly to social media websites. Plus, there's a Baby Monitor function which lets you use the camera like an IP surveillance camera, viewing a remote feed across the Internet.

HDR (High Dynamic Range) Movie Recording: Much like HDR still photos, the HDR movie function combines two images recorded with different exposure times and uses the best from both. This helps improve detail in the shadows and highlights so that you are less likely to see blown-out highlights or crushed blacks. Ideal for difficult to expose scenes, such as a subject standing in shadow with bright light behind

Wi-Fi Connectivity: Remote Shooting / Remote View - The "Panasonic Image App" lets you use a smartphone or tablet as a real-time remote to control the camcorder from a distance. Videos and photos inside the camera can be viewed on a smartphone or tablet, and uploaded directly to many popular social media sites

Real-Time Broadcasting - Connect the camera to the Internet and live-stream events on USTREAM as they are being recorded in Full-HD in-camera

Baby Monitor - Check on the baby anytime from anywhere with a smartphone or tablet. Push Notification sends an instant alert when the audio sensor detects the baby waking or crying (Internet connection required)

One-Touch Connection - NFC lets you connect an NFC-enabled smartphone or tablet to the camcorder with just one touch. And for devices without NFC, QR codes are provided to enable automatic Wi-Fi configuration

Wireless Twin Camera - Use Your Smartphone as a Sub Camera: Tether your smartphone to the HC-V770 via Wi-Fi and use the phone's camera to provide a second camera angle. This angle can be superimposed over or placed alongside the main image thanks to a number of Picture-in-Picture settings available in the menu

6.03MP Sensor with Back-Illumination: The HC-V770's 1/2.3", 6.03MP effective resolution MOS image sensor features back-illumination and improved image processing for better low-light performance and lower noise compared to non-back illuminated systems

Crystal Engine Image Processor: This mini processor provides the horsepower needed to record slow-motion video at up to 120 fps in 1080p and create interpolated (digital) slow-motion at up to 240 fps in 1080p. Additionally, it provides a noise reduction filter to maximize the clarity of fine detail and enhance color reproduction

Creative Effects: Give your movies a distinctive look with a collection of in-camera effects filters, including Miniature Effect, 8mm Movie, Silent Movie, and Time Lapse Recording

iA (Intelligent Auto) / iA Plus Mode: iA senses shooting conditions to automatically adjust settings and activate functions for optimal results. This mode also lets you adjust exposure compensation and white balance with a single button on the LCD

Level Shot Function: Level Shot automatically detects and corrects tilting in images. It can be adjusted to three different levels - OFF, Normal, or Strong - depending on shooting conditions. The 5-Axis HYBRID O.I.S.+ image stabilization system uses five-axis correction to suppress blurring

Works with Remote Pan Tilt Cradle: This optional accessory, available separately, uses a motion sensor featured on the camcorder to automatically track a moving subject when mounted between the camera and a tripod. The cradle has a 180° range of horizontal motion and a 15° vertical range. In addition, when combined with Wi-Fi connectivity, the cradle can be used as a remote pan/tilt control system for the camera, allowing you to operate the camcorder even if mounted in an inaccessible location or from another room
